Quality furniture and cabinetry by Heritage House Designs
Heritage House Designs, established in 1998, was born of a simple philosophy to create only the finest in custom handcrafted furniture and cabinetry at a fair and affordable cost. Today this concept still remains the driving force behind every piece I create.
WHY CHOOSE HERITAGE HOUSE DESIGNS
- Beautiful, high quality custom pieces at a fair price.

- Locally made, using environmentally sound practices.
BUILT WITH PASSION
I believe custom furniture should be a lifetime investment - a functional work of art. One designed around you, that speaks to your unique personal taste and needs. One that will fill that special place in your home and become the backdrop to the many cherished moments and memories throughout the years to come.
This is why every Heritage House original design is built with the highest standards of craftsmanship. From design, to construction, to finishing - all done by my hand only. Creating something much more than just another item destined for the landfill, but rather a piece which is sure to become your most treasured heirloom.
You have my word on it,
AS UNIQUE AS YOU
Thoughtful design is the key to creating a piece which will meet all of your expectations for style and function. At Heritage House I meet with each client personally. Every custom project begins with a discussion about your vision for the piece. Many of my clients use web or print images to help facilitate this. I then take these ideas and create sketches which reflect your vision, and refine them until a final design is reached.
HERITAGE HOUSE DESIGNS
As a cabinet maker I am committed not only to solid design practices, but also to sound and responsible environment practicies, both in the selection of materials used as well as in the construction process.
Every piece is built using only locally sourced environmentally sustainable woods, which are FSC certified. No plywood is used in custom furniture pieces. Also, all reclaimed lumber comes from Southern Ontario barns dismantled within 100km from Halton Hills.
During construction any wood cut-offs generated are used for heating while sawdust and wood shavings are supplied to local farms for animal bedding.
All glues are water based and finishes are low VOC resulting in cleaner air and almost zero off-gassing inside your home.
